CAD Drawings

This is the first draft of our original design. The original design has two seperate height adjust system. We eventually give up one of the system to reduce cost and reduce excessive weight.

Arduino Codes

The coding on each crutch is different. The crutch with a button acts as an emitter. It constantly sends out signal when it is turned on. The other crutch acts as a receiver that remotely controlled by the other crutch.

Coding Flowchart

The whole system is controlled by only one button that controls both crutches in both directions. Every second time pressing the button, the linear actuator goes in the opposite direction of last time. The emitter not only sends information of when the button is pressed, but also what direction they should move. It makes sure that they always move in the same direction when the button is pressed.
